Do Now

After watching the video please respond to the following questions:

1) How many of you use some type of social media, like Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, every day? When you're using social media, what do you normally do? Chat with friends? Share videos? What sorts of activities do you engage in?

2) So, thinking about those interactions, and the video we just watched, what is digital citizenship? What does it mean to be a good digital citizen?

3) Where does Cyber Bullying fit into those ideas on digital citizenship? And what exactly is Cyber Bullying?

4) What about online safety? What are things you've learned from your parents and other teachers about being safe online?

5) And how does that connect to digital citizenship?

6) Can you think of any examples from your own experiences where you weren't being safe online? Or when you weren't being a good digital citizen?

7) Are there any specific things our school does to help kids safe online and to help them become good digital citizens?
